End of Season Cleanup
The end of the maple sap flow season generally occurs in late February to early March. However this varies by location and year. Another indicator is that the maple trees will begin to bud. At the end of the season all taps should be removed, the tree will heal the holes very quickly.
It is important to clean your equipment at the end of the season in preparation for next year.
